As reported by billboard.com, NYC's The Strokes have amicably parted ways with producer Nigel Godrich (Radiohead, Travis) after their so-called "test drive" didn't produce the desired results. Instead, the band will settle back in with Is This It producer Gordon Raphael. The follow-up album is expected out sometime later this year.
