While speaking to XFM.com, Fran Healy of Travis reported that the follow-up to 2001's The Invisible Band is nearly finished. He stated: "“We have been recording, and we’re confidently close to having a very cool record finished... everyone that’s heard it says it sounds quite a bit ‘different’. I don’t think so, I think it still sounds like us, but then again you never really know how others hear you.” Travis have already released the song "The Beautiful Occupation" for the Warchild charity, but it seems the song will be included on the album. Other than that, no proper dates or details have been released about the album, it's just chit-chat right now.
