STP's Eric Kretz In Trouble

Stone Temple Pilots drummer Eric Kretz is being sued by his estranged wife, Shari W. Kretz, for allegedly breaking a promise to financially take care of her for the rest of her life. The suit is for breach of oral contract among other things. Shari claims to have aided Eric with everything from writing songs for STP, to helping with the artwork, music videos, and business decisions of the band, as well as serving as Eric's "fashion consultant, confidante, business advisor, and secretary," and having designed Eric's "rock-n-roll look." I can just hear it...On the night of their honeymoon, Eric Says, "Baby I wil take care of you for the rest of your life, I promise." And now she is trying to hold him to it.
