According to published reports Chris Cornell has officially signed on with Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello, bassist Tim Commerford and drummer Brad Wilk for more than just a side project. Cornell has begun work on a new studio album with the remaining members of Rage Against The Machine. The album will feature all-new material and will be produced by Rick Rubin. With Cornell signed to Interscope and Rage signed to Epic, the label under which the new band's debut album will be released remains a mystery.
