The U.S. must wait for The Eels

According to the official Eels website, the new album Souljacker will be released internationally long before it's released stateside. The album will be released across the pond on September 24th, but won't be available in America until sometime in January. This is not a decision made by the band, but by the label probably in an attempt to be able to market the album more (January is notoriously slow in the music business). However, the import version will have a bonus CD of unreleased songs so it may be worth ordering it overseas.
