As the new year gets into gear, Nelly Furtado is ready to get back into the swing of things too. She recently posted on her website: "I am recording my new album. Thanks for being patient. I am trying to make sure that I work just as hard on this album as I did on the first one. In today's musical climate, the trend is to pump out an album really quickly. I will try my best to not keep my fans waiting too long, but I will not sacrifice quality." For those fans that consider Whoa, Nelly! quality, that's pretty good news.
