My Fever Has Broken
Reported by ben
Many who thought Rasputina had faded away and were no longer rocking out on cellos were surprised with two great releases this past year: Cabin Fever! and Lost and Found (which, oh by the way, have recently received some serious critical acclaim in the form of the Silent Uproar Top 6 1/2 Albums of 2002). Anyway, the good times continue into 2003 with a few dates lined up for February in Chicago, San Diego, LA, NYC, and more to be announced (hit 'more' for dates). January 21st should see the reissue of the covers EP Lost and Found with some bonus tracks produced by one Mike Viola. A little birdy told me that one of the additional tracks will be a Pat Benatar cover. There also may be a cover of CCR's Bad Moon Rising, but that may be more of a rumor (find my approximated tracklisting by hitting 'more'). You might also be on the lookout for On My Knees, a fetishy film set in the 19th century starring and scored by Rasputina front woman Melora Creager. She's not too harsh on the eye.
