Behind the Mask: Slipknot Won't Last

Reported by erun

Slipknot's next record will be their last, according to singer Corey Taylor via RollingStone.com: "I believe we can do one more album and go out on a high note," he writes in a Web post. "But as far as hanging out after we have lost our relevance? Never. I got one fucking word for you: Gwar." Um, Gwar were silly too, right? Case in point, the masked wonders will begin working on their third album, follow up to Iowa, with producer Rick Rubin. The lords of the maggots plan to release around mid-2003 or 2004-ish. Vague? Hang in there.
