Weezer Gets Sued
Reported by simple
The Atlas/Third Rail Management vs. Weezer lawsuit, which was filed on July 6th in Los Angeles Superior Court, now has a status conference set for October 3rd. The management company is suing for breach of contract, declaratory relief, quantum meruit, accounting, and imposition of constructive trust, and is asking for more than $2 million from plaintiffs Rivers Cuomo, Pat Wilson, Brian Bell, and Mikey Welsh. Atlas/Third Rail claims the band tried to renegotiate its contract this April to reduce the 15 percent commission the managers take from the group.
