Sorry Paul, McCartney-Lennon Just Doesn't Ring Right
Reported by heyrevolver
Wanna read about something really silly? Well, if so, read this article about Paul McCartney reversing the legendary "Lennon-McCarteny" song credit to "McCartney-Lennon" in the liner notes of his recent Back In The U.S. live album. Also, read about how it's got Yoko Ono's panties all in a bunch. The whole situation stinks of silly politics involving way too many people that don't have shit to do with The Beatles. But let me know if this sounds fair: In a 2001 interview, McCartney stated, "At one point, Yoko earned more from 'Yesterday' than I did." Hmm... nope! As if it wasn't enough that she broke up The Beatles and that she earns money from John Lennon's name, she's continues to be a bit tyrannical about music she has nothing to do with - well, besides a little inspiration on "The Ballad of John and Yoko". But, that's it! Just give the boy "Yesterday" and call it even Courtney... I mean, Yoko!
