You gotta love band contests- They're almost as good as ours (grin). Cornelius' official site has launched a contest in which the individual tracks from the latest album Point are ponied up for your DJing skills. Winning entries might end up on a future Cornelius release, so tickle your turntables... well, first go check out the rules and entry stuff. In other Cornelius news, there's talk of a series of US shows early next summer, including an appearance at the Matt "The Simpsons" Groening-curated LA edition of All Tomorrow's Parties... I don't think that's the one with Autechre and the Jicks, but I could be wrong. We'll keep you posted, promise.
