Ataris Sign to Columbia

The Ataris have signed with Columbia Records despite previously claiming that such a move would be hugely unlikely for them. This is somewhat surprsing news, although I don't think it is any big deal. A lot of punk bands like to trash bands on major labels, but who cares if you "the man" is helping you get your music to more people.
