King of Rock gunned down

Jam Master Jay, DJ for legendary hip-hop group Run-DMC, was shot and killed outside a recording studio in Queens late Wednesday evening. Police have not disclosed any other information about the shooting (including the identity and condition of the other man shot), but you can be sure that details will be released in the coming days. Obviously, this is a huge loss for the group, who just completed a tour and were about to head into the studio to record a new album.
