I Wanna Be Your Nerd

Last night in Los Angeles, N.E.R.D. picked up the second annual Shortlist Prize for Achievement in Music. Not only did Pharrell and company bring home the award, they won themselves $3000 gift certificates at Guitar Center and Tower Records. For real. Anyway, the real news of the night were the live performances (we warned you), including a closing jam featuring Howlin' Pete Almqvist and Mike Vigilante Carlstroem from The Hives, Pete Yorn, Mike Watt and the one and only Iggy Pop.
