Wanna know more about the Pixies? (Hint: The Pixies were pretty important, so if you really want to be cool, the answer to that question should be yes regardless of any prior exposure to the band or its music). Well this guy Josh Frank is writing and producing a musical based on the life of Frank Black (he was in the Pixies). Mr. Frank, not to be confused with Mr. Black, has been involved in a musical based on the life of Janis Joplin called Love, Janis, which was apparently a success. So this one could be good too. The Frank Black one will be called Teenager of the Year and should be ready for audiences sometime in the spring.
