How many times are they going to remake this thing?

It couldn't get much worse than The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation, but it looks like they are sparing no expense in effort to do just that. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) is supposed to be "a less gory and more thrilling remake" of the original classic. It's being directed by some dude who has done videos for C & C Music Factory and Shaggy and produced by the guy who directed Pearl Harbor. No joke. What does this have to do with music? Marilyn Manson is doing the score for it. You have to admit the whole thing does sound interesting, but I suspect those who see it will do so expecting a turd. Here's a fun fact: At the beginning of Manson's cover of I Put a Spell On You, there is a very effectively used sample from the beginning of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
