Eat the Singer

Reported by simple

Eat the Day, which features form Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland has decided to turn to you in their search for a vocalist. A recent statement released by the band explains that they had originally planned to handle the vocals themselves, but they feel their voices don't do justice to the quality of music they are making. If you think you have what it takes, the band will be taking submissions at a soon to be named PO Box. If you have a website or want to send a song in the form of an MP3, you can e-mail the band right now at Tongueofcolicab@earthlink.net. To see the full statement click more.

Finally... We were hoping that we wouldn't have to post this news, but it seems that we have no other choice. In the last few months we have been auditioning singers. We had originally planned on handling the vocal duties ourselves, but after much toil have decided that the quality of our voices does not match the quality of our music. Basically we have been instrumental musicians for 15 years and vocalists for 6 months. The difference between the two just wasn't measuring up, and our playing was suffering because we were trying to do so many jobs at once. So here it is.... After listening to about 100 demos and meeting with 5 singers, we feel that our selection is too limited. We want to expand the search. If you feel that you have what it takes to be onboard with us, we will be posting a P.O. Box address for you to mail demos to in the next 2 days. If you have a website or want to send us a song in the form of an MP3, you can e-mail us at Tongueofcolicab@earthlink.net right now. I hope this message will spread to as many sources and websites as possible. We will not be making any appearances in any public locations, and there will be no mass auditioning. We will only be having private meetings with individuals in Los Angeles. If you do not live in the L.A. area, arrangements will be made for you to travel here if we are interested in you. This message will be modified with the P.O. Box information shortly. Please only send in submissions if you are serious, and don't bother sending in any RAP because it will immediately be t!
hrown into the garbage (except for the jewel case, which we will keep). Also we are looking more for a beautiful voice and NOT a Nu-Metallish type of vibe. Someone who is extremely dynamic. Someone who can sing as sweetly as Jeff Buckley and also scream bloody murder, but we are ready to be open minded to almost anything except for RAP. We're really looking for a partner and a friend to be with us for years and years. So there you have it. We're looking forward to hearing from you. -WesUpdate: Here is that address.Eat the Day
