A compilation, get up, get out!

The now-defunct Pop Will Eat Itself (whose back catalog is almost entirely out of print) will be anthologized October 7th with the compilation Product 1986-1994 to be released on Castle Music in the UK (no word yet on a US release date). Spanning two discs, the compilation will cover PWEI's history from their early synth-pop days to their final years on Nothing Records (you can click "more" down there for a tracklisting). OK, you may not have heard of PWEI (they were kind of obscure until their last album and then they broke up), but you've probably heard the many artists who rippe.. er.. borrowed their sound like Gorillaz, Nine Inch Nails and Prodigy. So, yeah, check out the Poppies.
