It looks like Pearl Jam, not just Eddie Vedder as we previously noted, will give their first live performance of the year Monday night at the House of Blues in Chicago. The group will open for the Who, at a benefit to raise money for the Maryville Academy, which aids disadvantaged youths in Illinois. Guitarist Stone Gossard is not expected to be there due to a prior commitment and will likely be replaced by keyboardist Boom, who plays on Pearl Jam's upcoming album, Riot Act, due in November.
