Diary Of The Cardigans
Reported by heyrevolver
The Cardigans have been busy working on their new album with two mysterious producers, about which they will not divulge any information. However, you can read about the progress on the new album over the band's tour diary. To sum it all up for the less-interested: the band spent a little time in Malmö at Tambourine Studios discussing the feel of the album and sorting through 15 or 16 song ideas. According to the first diary entry, the album's sound will be "quite different from Gran Turismo... [using] as little computers as possible, and the songs [will be recorded] "live" with all the band at once in the studio." Following those sessions, the band traveled to Malaga, Spain to El Cortijo Studios and started fleshing out many of the tracks, working almost 15 hours a day in the studio. Next, the band will travel to England's Park Gate Studios to continue and possibly complete studio work on the record. So, there you go. I suggest you read the diary though, there's much more details and information there than I could include.
