New J. Mascis Album in October

"Free So Free" the new J. Mascis album is due out October 8th on Ultimatum Records. The press materials for the album promise a "concept album" full of "zigzagging guitar solos and pure melody." Free So Free was recorded in Mascis' own Amherst, MA studio.
