Side Incubi, Succubi Not Invited
Reported by erun
After Incubus wrap up their current U.S. tour Halloween night in Irvine, California, they'll begin drafting the follow-up album to 2001's Morning View. The band hopes to release the album sometime next year and have producer Scott Litt (R.E.M., Nirvana) oversee it. "We've got a bunch of side projects, but they're not really side projects because we all play on them," guitarist Mike Einziger says. "We have an old-school instrumental funk outfit that's called Underwood. It's baking right now. We have a heavy metal side project called Battering Ram . . . Our first album is Guitarmageddon." The band were also asked to collaborate on the upcoming Santana record, but, so far, their schedule hasn't permitted it. To read more about what Einziger says, head to RollingStone.com.
