Death to Short Videos

Dennis Hopper, who's in more movies than John Cusak, is set to work with Death in Vegas on one of a series of short films the group are to make for their new album Scorpio Rising, which you may remember us mentioning. Death In Vegas plan to make a series of short films for release on DVD next year to accompany the music on their album Scorpio Rising, which will be released on September 16. Richard Fearless of DIV told NME.com: "There’s filming of the recording and construction of the artwork in India, and we’re doing a short film for each song. Every film has a range of actors, directors and artists involved. It’s really exciting but I’m not allowed to say anything. Because it’s on a DVD we won’t have that thing where we have to conform to MTV rules for the short films." Amen, dancing diner man.
