We have learned that theStone Temple Pilots plan to drop in on Malibu, California for a pair of unannounced gigs to be filmed for an in-the-works documentary on the making of their album Shangri-La Dee Da. "I think a good way to sort of close out the documentary is . . . a couple of live performances," says bassist Robert DeLeo.
