Powerman 5000 have head back into the studio with a new bassist, Siggy Siursen, and drummmer, Adrian Ost. Since the departure of original bassist Dorian Heartsong and drummer Al Pahanhish, and since the failure of their never-released 2001 album, Doomsday, the group has decided to take their time this go round. Frontman Spider One had this to say: "A few people have worried about how long we’ve been away... [but] I have never been so confident and excited and happy about a group of songs as I am about the one’s we’re doing now.” None of the material recorded for Doomsday will end up on the follow-up to 1999's Tonight The Stars Revolt!.
