Somebody's Not Down With Wilco...

According to Pitchfork, the previously reported collaboration of The Minus 5 and Wilco has finally been dropped by Mammoth Records, after they were required to merge into parent label, Hollywood Records, earlier this year. A head executive from Mammoth had this to say: "Down with Wilco isn't the sort of album that's going to chart high... it's great music that will require real attention in terms of publicity and marketing." Looks like Wilco, who are currently making the best music of their career, can't get a break.
