Hurrah for the Masked People

Reported by erun

Though it's almost been a year to the day (give or take a week) that we told you about the various side-projects of the beautiful babes known as Slipknot, here's some more info, thanks to NME.com: Drummer Joey Jordison has teamed up with Static X’s Tripp Eisen to form trash punk outfit Murderdolls. Drawing lyrical inspiration from "Friday the 13th" and similar horror flicks, the new band features Wednesday 13 on vocals, Eric Griffin on bass and Ben Graves on drums, with 15-track debut album Beyond The Valley Of The Murderdolls out on August 19. Meanwhile Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor and guitarist Jim Root have re-joined members of the band they were in before Slipknot, Stone Sour, and relaunched the project, begatting a release their 16-track self-titled debut on September 16.
