What Happened To The Black Crowes?

I think it was about a month ago that we told you that Black Crowes frontman, Chris Robinson, was gearing up to play shows this month in support of his upcoming solo album. Well, low and behold, it seems the Crowes are on "hiatus", and have been since Feburary. Who knew? The hiatus is mostly likely the result of years of tension between the Robinson brothers, Chris and Rich, as well as the depature of long-time drummer Steve Gorman. Each member is pursuing their own respective interests, with the hopes to bring the Crowes back in the future. Well, just in case that never happens, be sure to pick up The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion and the best album they've ever made, Amorica. It was damn hippie, pothead rock 'n roll, but dagnabit it was mighty fine when they did it right, mighty fine.
