Grandaddy awakes from their slumber

Reported by yewknee

After approximately 6 silent months, it appears that Grandaddy is ready to share what they've been up to. Straight from the mouth of guitarist Jim Fairchild comes word of a new 24-track home-based studio nearing completion, new demo's from songwriter Jason Lytle that span the gamut from a "potentially epic" to "the ballad version of Master Of Puppets" to "punk rock stormer", and the promise that recording their third full-length album begins very soon. Along with that, the band is starting their own indie label (setting to release the one and only release from Arm Of Roger) and hopes to relaunch a new look for their website soon. There's more.. much more.. but you'll just have to read their news page for all the gory details.
