Brad Smith of Blind Melon has released a solo album under the name Abandon Jalopy. The album is entitled Mercy and is available through his website. The album has been described as calling "upon a variety of musical styles ranging from hard rock to hippie folk to Lousiana shuffle, all punctuated by Smith's simple-yet-powerful lyrics."
