Drive My Heart of Glass

Three years after Blondie's comeback album, 1999's No Exit, the band is back in the studio working on the follow-up, Drive. The album is due later this year on Beyond Music, with Craig Leon -- who produced No Exit -- again at the helm. The band has been writing and recording since last fall and has completed fourteen tracks, including "Goldenrod," "Firecracker" and "No Class." According to guitarist Chris Stein, Drive has "an overall motif of a fire spirit." The album is due out later this year on Beyond Music. Stein says Blondie will extend their twenty-eight-year career to include at least one more album after this one. The band will also embark on a summer tour this July. Click here for tour dates.
