Former Hole singer Courtney Love may finally get her day in court: Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Fumiko Wasserman gave the final go-ahead Thursday for Lady Love's countersuit against her former label, Universal Music Group, setting a court date should the case go to trial. Wasserman, however, first ordered both sides to sit down with a court-appointed mediator on June 10 to work out their differences- Fat chance. If no progress is made, then they should prepare to have their complaints heard before a jury on June 11. Courtney's trial almost didn't take place, as her attempt to make the Hollywood and California-enforced "De Havilland" law (which basically states that an entertainer cannot be bound to contract for over 7 years), legal for musicians too, was dismissed. What do you want the outcome to be?
