Alanis Morissette is turning over all creative control to fans for one night only in New York on June 11th. Oxygen.com will sponsor the Alanis Morissette Custom Concert, where fans can vote on various aspects of the show here. "Nature," "spirituality," "journey" and "geometric shapes" are the choices for stage design themes (which leaves lots of room for pastels). Sound samples of songs are featured on the site to help fans choose the set list and even which songs deserve an acoustic performance. And in keeping with Morissette's confessional nature, fans can email requests for the songs they most want to get the story behind, as well as "outrageous" questions she'll answer during the show. (Such as..?) The concert will air on the Oxygen network on June 23rd and will be simultaneously streamed at the Web site. Morissette will continue to tour behind Under Rug Swept through mid-June.
