Ryan Adams and Sheryl Crow are amongst the artists who will pop up as guests on Hard Candy, the forthcoming new album from Counting Crows. The album, the band's fourth studio LP, follows 1999's This Desert Life. It will be out June 24. A single, "American Girls". will appear a week before on June 17. (Possibly capitalizing further on Adams' "New York" goldmine?) Adams returnins a favor from Crows mainman Adam Duritz who guested on 'Answering Bell', Adams' recent single. A new Counting Crows song will appear on the soundtrack to "Mr. Deeds", which also includes Adam Sandler's duet with David Bowie on the latter's "Space Oddity"; the soundtrack is due June 11th.
