I wish they all could be California Awards...

The 2002 California Music Awards were held this past Saturday in Oakland and you better believe we've got the list of winners for you. Inexplicably, crap-rockers Train walked away with 4 awards -- Best Album, Outstanding Songwriter, Outstanding Male Vocalist and Best Single, the latter of which they shared with Gorillaz (aren't they Brittish?). Alien Ant Farm picked up two awards -- Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album and Best New Album. Other winners included Gwen Stefani (Outstanding Female Vocalist), Blink 182 (Outstanding Punk/Ska Album), Smash Mouth (Outstanding Group) and Green Day (Artist of the Year). Anyway, what I'm wondering is if all the other states get music awards too -- you know, like the North Dakota Music Awards. Hmm.
