Ether 2002

Proving once again that most everything cool originates across the pond, the Royal Festival Hall is hosting one of this spring’s biggest mash-ups. Over six nights in April and May, artists from all over the world will bring their version of music to venues on London’s South Bank for the Ether festival. A summary of the line-up includes: Jim O’Rourke & Kim Gordon, Ikue Mori, DJ Olive, Pan Sonic, Chicks On Speed, Hecker, Cannibal Ox, Russell Haswell, Gotan Project, Nortec Collective, Jeff Mills (DJ) soundtracking a screening of Fritz Lang’s Metropolis (1926), Supercollider, Jah Wobble, Graham Massey’s Toolshed, People Like Us, Felix Kubin, Matt Wand, Wobbly, The Evolution Control Committee, Cornelius, The Gentle People & special guests… Send me an email if you go and lemme know how it went...
