Radiohead tour? Don't get your hopes up.

A few weeks back, we reported that Radiohead would be playing some shows in Spain and Portugal this summer, perhaps as a warmup for a more extensive tour. Well, it turns out that those dates will be the only ones Radiohead plays until 2003. Apparently, the shows are just meant as a means of testing out the new material they're writing for their next album. According to a spokesperson for the band, "2002 is pretty much dedicated to writing and recording new material. Part of this process involves playing in the new stuff in front of an audience, hence the shows."
