Jason Reece of And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of The Dead is writing a screenplay about The Who drummer Keith Moon. Reece told Pitchfork that his motivation was personal, as he’d like to see a film about Moon "the drummer and the practical joker. To make a rock biopic that people would just have fun watching." Reece drew parallels between the Trail Of Dead and The Who, in that both bands balance the serious side of making music with having fun. "I mean, we definitely take what we do seriously, but you should see us when we're really drunk!" It remains unclear when – or if – Reece’s pet project will see the light of day.
