Evan Dando, Ben Lee, Tom Petersson from Cheap Trick and Jason Schwartzman of Phantom Planet recently gathered at Globe Studios in New York, NY to record two songs, "Dead Or Anything" and "Love Song". Lee and Dando spent time together last year writing songs for their respective solo projects, but the songs didn't make the cut. Not wanting to trash their efforts, the two enlisted the help of Petersson and Schwartzman to record the songs for a CD single release through Trifekta Records. You can pre-order the single from Trifekta's website, it will be released on April 1st.
