Matmos Still Hard At Work

Experimental, electronic act Matmos recently made appearances on two upcoming albums. First, the group contributed to the David Grubbs album Rickets & Scurvy, out on Drag City. Secondly, the dynamic duo "were coaxed into making a rather unusual contribution" to the upcoming DAT Politics album Plugs Plus, which will appear on the Chicks On Speed imprint. In other news, in addition to performing with Björk at this year's Coachella Festival, Matmos will peform at Ohio State University in Columbus, OH on April 19th at 8pm. The event, which is titled "Terry Riley & The All Stars", is being held in honor of composer Terry Riley, who is credited with launching the Minimalist movement.
