Melissa Auf Der Maur Working On New Album

Ex-Hole and Smashing Pumpkins bassist Melissa Auf Der Maur has completed 12 songs on her new solo album. The new album, due for release later this year will be "very, very heavy and very beautiful at the same time". She told MTV news that she is hoping to recruit her friend Rufus Wainwright to contribute to the sessions. Song titles on the album, released under the name Auf Der Maur, include "Appetite Running", "Beastfest" and "Real, A Lie".
