Weezer has canceled its appearances at the Manchester Academy on Saturday, July 7th, and its Sunday, July 8th appearance at the T In The Park festival in Scotland, due to scheduling problems. The band will be making their video for the new single "Island in the Sun" this weekend, so the shows will have to be rescheduled. Also, reports that Weezer is opening up dates for Jane's Addiction are premature and are not confirmed at present time. The band wants fans to be wary of promoters selling tickets with Weezer opening, at present time.
