Episode I: The Phantom Incubus

After crafting one of the finest rock records in recent memory, Phantom Planet will hit the arenarock big-time, opening up for Sony labelmates Incubus on the Honda Civic Tour this May. If you don't want to shell out the surprisingly high (for a "corporate sponsored" show, anyway) ticket price to catch them with Brandon Boyd's abs, PP will be ass-whooping some smaller venues this month (including NYC's legendary CBGBs), both on their own and alongside the undisputed masters of alcohol-enhanced rock-and-roll, Guided By Voices. Also, some lucky folks in pursuit of higher education will be able to catch the Planeteers opening for Guster at...um...colleges. Where else would you find the Gus?
