The new Roots album, Phrenology, should be out sometime this summer, but hopefully their first single "Thought At Work" will hit much sooner. Drummer and mastermind ?uestlove has commented that Phrenology is a depature from Roots albums of the past. He told MTV.com that he wrote down all the things the Roots haven't done on an album yet and then tried to achieve half of them. As a result, ?uestlove stated, "Phrenology is our fastest, shortest, most aggressive album." Aside from the appearance by Talib Kweli, Phrenology will play host to new collaborators by featuring Nelly Furtado and Project Pat. Although no official tracklisting has been announced yet, we do know that "Rock You", "Pussy Galore", "Quills", and "Water" will be included on the final release.
