Taproot are currently working on Welcome, the follow up to their debut album, Gift. Bassist Phil Lipscomb commented: "Our songwriting itself has become more fluent, and lyrically, [there is] a little more reflection on Steve's whole life rather than on smaller parts." The group is currently in Los Angelse, CA working with producer Toby Wright (Alice In Chains, Metallica), the album is expected in late summer.
