Pearl Jam are currently recording their final studio album under their contract with Epic Records, it will be their 7th. According to band manager, Kelly Curtis: "This next album fulfills our current contract with Epic, but we plan to renegotiate with them and are hopeful we can work out a new deal that makes sense for the band and label." Reports to the contrary say that Pearl Jam have indeed been shopping around at different labels, but we'll see what happens. The album, which will be the follow up to 2000's Binaural, will be co-produced by Adam Kasper (Vs.). Two songs, "Last Soilder" and "I Am Mine", were at previewed at the Groundwork and Bridge School benefit shows. Both songs are expected on the new album which is scheduled for Fall 2002 release.
