Our Lady Writes

Reported by simple

Our Lady Peace is working on their fifth album, and according to Drummer Jeremy Taggart, the music is said to be a radical departure for the band. The drummer recenlty said, "It is by far our best record. I’m sure you hear this from every single band that are making a new record. But this, for me, is such a departure, in terms of the sound and simplicity of the songs. It is a completely brand new thing for me." The band split with guitarist Mike Turner late last year, so Jamie Edwards, who has played second guitar and keyboards with OLP, picked up guitar duties during the recording process. No permanent replacement has been announced. The band is currently mixing the album with producer Bob Rockand there is no title or release date set yet, but it will likely surface in late summer.
