Henry Rollins has decided to do his part to help out the West Memphis Three, a group of three men who were convicted of killing three young boys in Arkansas in 1993; a case that has caused a lot of high-profile controversy. Rollins is doing his part by holding a benefit concert on March 8th at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, featuring the Rollins Band, Wayne Kramer’s Ship of Fools and Original Sinners. The West Memphis Three Benefit CD will be available at the show, featuring tracks by Waits, Eddie Vedder, Long Beach Dub All Stars and The Supersuckers, amongst others. There also will be a silent auction throughout the evening for autographed music memorabilia.
