Fuel has requested that Toyota cease from calling their promotional tour for the new Matrix vehicle the "Fuel The Music Tour". The tour, which kicked off Feburary 2nd, features Sum 41, American Hi-Fi, Hoobastank, Rival Schools, Andrew WK, and rubyhorse, among others. Fuel guitarist Carl Bell commented: "We want to clarify any confusion among our fans ... We wish the tour well, but we've fought long and hard to make a name for ourselves and don't want to mislead music fans in any way. Music and touring are what we do, so we have to protect our name." I would think that if people went to see Rivals Schools and American Hi-Fi on accident, they might just realize how much Fuel sucks and stop buying their records. I think that's what Fuel is afraid of, I could be wrong though.
