There Was A Crooked Man

Reported by heyrevolver

Former Archers of Loaf member Eric Bachman has signed his new project, Crooked Fingers, with Merge Records. Bachman is currently working on his third album, which is due this fall or early next year. However, you won't have to wait that long to hear new material. Merge will be releasing an EP from Crooked Fingers titled Reservoir Songs. It will feature versions of Neil Diamond's 'Solitary Man,' Queen's 'Under Pressure,' Prince's 'When You Were Mine,' Kris Kristofferson's 'Sunday Morning Coming Down,' and Bruce Springsteen's 'The River.' During the past few months, Bachman has produced the new Azure Ray album, Burn and Shiver, due out April 9th on WARM Electronic Recordings. Bachman will hit the road in the spring for a string of East Coast dates, head over to pitchforkmedia.com for those dates.
